Photo-Curing Protective Sleeve

I. Introduction

The photo-curing protective sleeve is a UV-curing GRP (glassfiber reinforced plastic) sheet, which is composed of high grade epoxy-phenolic aldehyde soaked vinyl ester, filler and glassfiber reinforced materials. By press-moulding, it forms an opaque laminated sheet.

The photo-curing protective sheet is supplied in roll. Before curing, the sheet is soft and flexible and suitable to wide applications. The sheet is easy to cut into various shapes. The sheet will be cured under natural light or the mechanical UV lamp irradiation. After curing, the sheet becomes a perfect protective material with good wear resistance and impact resistance.

II. Application

The photo-curing protective sleeve finds wide applications such the protection of whole length of pipeline, field joint coating, chemicals storage tank, crude oil storage tank, tank farm dyke, aboveground and underground pipes, roof, splash zone and riser.
