- The company was officially registered and established on May 8, 2000 under the original name of Shenzhen Changyuan Changtong Heat Shrinkable Materials Co., Ltd., starting its business in Nanshan District Science and Technology Park.

2005
- Shifted focus to the petroleum and petrochemical sector. The pipeline heat-shrink anti-corrosion products passed the appraisal of scientific and technological achievements of Shenzhen City and won the Third Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress from the China Machinery Industry Federation, gaining initial recognition in the industry.
- Launched the project of PET casing products, marking the company’s first foray into a brand-new product field beyond pipeline anti-corrosion.

2008
- Won the bid for PetroChina's Second West-to-East Gas Transmission Pipeline Project and successfully joined its core supplier list, consolidating the company's standing in the industry on two fronts.

2010
- The company was renamed Shenzhen Changyuan Changtong New Materials Co., Ltd.

2012
- Promoted to Class I Supplier of heat-shrink anti-corrosion materials for PetroChina. Two new products, viscoelastic body and pressure-sensitive tape, passed the appraisal of scientific and technological achievements, marking remarkable results in new product development.

2013
- The company became a council member unit of the industry association and obtained anti-corrosion construction qualifications, realizing an upgrade from product supply to integrated services. In the same year, its high-temperature heat-shrinkable tape passed the authoritative DVGW certification of Germany, granting access to high-end international markets; its viscoelastic product won the First Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress awarded by the Chinese Society for Corrosion and Protection.

- The company was renamed Changyuan Changtong New Materials Co., Ltd.

2015
- The company was renamed Changyuan Changtong New Materials Joint Stock Co., Ltd.

2017
- Listed on the National Equities Exchange and Quotations (NEEQ), stock code: 836349. The company hosted the 1st National Technical Exchange Conference on Oil & Gas Pipeline Corrosion and Protection Management, jointly building a technical exchange platform for oil and gas pipeline operators in the field of corrosion protection.
- Awarded the Second Class Prize of Shenzhen Science and Technology Progress Award (2015) issued by the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government.
- Obtained the Assessment Certificate for Petrochemical Pipeline Network Service Organizations issued by China Classification Society (CCS).

2019
- The production base was relocated to Dongkeng, Dongguan, unlocking new opportunities for development.

2020
- Shareholders completed equity transfer, forming a new pattern of corporate governance and ushering in a new development era.
- Obtained the Grade-I Professional Contractor Qualification for Waterproof, Anti-corrosion and Thermal Insulation Projects.

2023
- It has successively obtained municipal-level certifications including Specialized, Refined, Differential and Innovative Enterprise. A number of new products have passed scientific and technological achievement appraisal and won the Second Prize of Industry Science and Technology Progress. The construction of Xiegang New Materials Industrial Park has started, laying a spatial foundation for long-term development.

2025
- The company invested in expanding its irradiation center with three additional electron accelerator production lines to upgrade production capacity. Three subsidiaries were established, namely Superelastic Technology, Pipeline Protection Digital Intelligence Technology and Yuchen Engineering Technology, marking the strategic layout to march into new energy, new materials and smart pipeline sectors. The full relocation to the Dongguan New Materials Industrial Park was completed, forming a new landscape for all-round corporate development. In 2025, the enterprise was honored as a National Specialized, Refined, Differential and Innovative "Little Giant" Enterprise, adding a glorious footnote to its 25-year journey.
