CT818 Fast Rubber Repair Compound
Features
-
Excellent Wear Resistance, 2–3 Times That of Ordinary Conveyor BeltsIt boasts outstanding abrasion resistance, with a service life 2 to 3 times longer than standard conveyor belts. It can effectively resist abrasion caused by material friction and particle scouring, greatly extending the service life of conveyor belts and reducing equipment maintenance frequency.
-
High Strength, High Elongation and Good ToughnessFeaturing high tensile strength, superior elongation and excellent toughness, the repaired area delivers strong resistance to tension and deformation. It can flex and stretch dynamically along with the conveyor belt during operation without cracking, peeling or tearing under load, making it suitable for continuous dynamic running conditions of belts.
-
Fast Curing (1 Hour)It cures and sets rapidly within 1 hour without long waiting periods, drastically shortening belt repair time, cutting equipment downtime and enabling quick resumption of normal production.

Application Areas
-
Rapid repair for conveyor belt surfacesUsed for quick mending of surface damages on all types of conveyor belts. -
Sealing for cold vulcanized joints of conveyor beltsApplied to seal cold vulcanized joints of conveyor belts. -
Restoration of various rubber productsSuitable for cold repair of cables, turbine coating and restoration of all kinds of rubber products.
Application Method
Abrading:Use a tungsten carbide grinding disc to roughen the damaged area and surrounding rubber surface of the conveyor belt; avoid polishing or scorching the rubber during grinding.
Cleaning & Drying:Thoroughly clean the treated surface and residues with neutral detergent until free of all contaminants, then air-dry naturally or heat-dry.
Primer Application:Apply an even single coat of rubber primer onto the pretreated rubber surface; it takes approx. 15 minutes to dry at an ambient temperature of 25℃.
Mixing:Prepare the adhesive at a weight ratio of A : B = 20 : 1. Stir thoroughly and rapidly within 1 minute. Mix only the required amount for immediate use and finish application within the working time.
Coating:Spread the mixed adhesive evenly over the treated rubber surface with a short-bristle brush or doctor blade, controlling the coating thickness within 2 mm.
Precautions
1.Flammable material. Store in a sealed and dry environment.
