Low-Temperature Heat-Shrinkable Tape Project for the 2nd China-Russia Crude Oil Pipeline



Project Introduction
In 2016, Shenzhen Changyuan was once again designated as the supplier of FRDP813*520 radiation cross-linked polyethylene heat-shrinkable tapes for the Second China-Russia Crude Oil Pipeline (Shenzhen Changyuan also supplied relevant products for Phase I of the project). A total of 3,976 sets of normal-temperature heat-shrinkable tapes and 14,100 sets of low-temperature heat-shrinkable tapes were delivered to the construction site, all of which were installed by mechanical equipment.
Site supervisors and the project owner conducted quality inspections on our heat-shrinkable tapes. The finished field joint coatings feature smooth surfaces and well-sealed edges. All peel strength test results exceed 100 N/cm with favorable cohesive failure upon peeling.
